Excellent service, super friendly & highly recommended. I stopped in to get some pants altered before Christmas and I was greeted immediately upon entering. Quick drop off and in about 1 hour I received a text message saying that my pants were already done (which every dry cleaners should have)--and I was expecting to come pick them up tomorrow. Seriously cannot say enough about La Ber! I needed alterations to a bridesmaid dress - I needed to make it not backless, as well as bring it in and hem it. Not only was it done quickly, it was done beautifully! I actually disliked the dress, but once the proper alterations were made, I was in love with it !

I contacted at least 4 tailors about a jacket zipper replacement, and each one said they could not help me. Finally I came across La' Ber on Yelp. I sent them a message and they were very responsive and helpful and told me that they could repair my zipper, and they let me know what the price would be based on the pictures I had sent them.
I took the jacket in later that day and they were very kind and accommodating. I was able to pick up my jacket a couple days later and the price did not change from what they had initially told me (which is something that other businesses do all the time!. They did such an amazing job that you would have no idea it was replaced. I have been recommending La' Ber to anyone in need of tailoring/alterations.

Amazing experience! They were able to completely redo/fix bad alterations (from another tailor) on my wedding dress- THREE DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING!! After another dress alteration shop quoted me an astronomical amount, I did my research and found this place on yelp. They got back to me right away with a ball park figure which most shops would not provide. My wedding dress was very simple with no beading, and a previous shop had quoted half the cost of the dress for cups, a bustle, and the shoulders taken up. This shop was able to do the same for a quarter of the price. They are a lovely family owned space with a very experienced tailor and her daughter managing the store. She did a beautiful job, they were both warm and friendly and I would highly recommend.

My wife has purchased 2 custom Figure bikini suits from Leyla. Her first was a more basic suit for her introduction to the world of Figure Competition, and her 2nd was her dream suit after she realized she wanted to do this more often. Both times, Leyla treated her like she was ordering an expensive suit regardless of the price. She was easy to work with, and her design sense is impeccable. My wife will proudly continue competing in these beautiful suits for a long time to come...and any future needs will require trips back to La'Ber...

Great experience! My son's suit for his 8th grade formal needed a quick hem and pressing.. and I got lucky and found this place not too far from my family's home.
Pleasant interaction as soon as I walked in. I explained my dilemma (my son's formal was the NEXT day). She didn't bat an eye and immediately told me it could be done and asked what time I wanted to pick it up.
I was late for the pickup but the results were great. Slacks hemmed perfectly, Pocket Square looking sharp and suit pressed. Very happy with the final result and the $$$.

I bought my prom dress fairly close to the date of my actual prom and I was very anxious about finding a tailoring place that would get it done in time. I looked at a few places on Yelp and went to them for a quote to see how long they thought the dress would take; after going to a few places that were asking for outrageous prices and weeks of work, I found La' Ber Cleaners and Tailoring. Kiymet was so professional and I immediately knew that I would be happy with the work she did. What other tailors said would take them 2 weeks, Kiymet finished in two days. Very happy with the service here and would definitely go again to get other things altered.

Very happy I found this place. One of the hardest places to find is a fair-priced dry cleaner. I have gone twice myself and referred another person who has been there twice as well, so far neither of us have complaints.
I took a white fur that had lipstick smudged on the collar, they were able to get it out with no issue and returned in a timely manner.
I have to have some pants tailored, stay tuned for my review on that.

Took my fiancee's suit here after finding them on Yelp. We had previously taken the suit to another cleaner/alteration place but the guy there told my fiancee that they could not take out her jacket because there wasn't enough fabric. I didn't believe that. So I found La'Ber and we went there. The woman immediately started pinning and eased our fears because there was enough fabric for the jacket to be taken out the amount we needed. She was kind, professional, worked quickly and her prices are amazing. Highly recommend this place. She totally saved the day!

Out of all my wedding vendors, La'Ber was my favorite! Kiymet was absolutely amazing to work with. At first, I was worried about not using the seamstress from the two places I purchased my wedding dresses from. But I had such terrible first experiences with each that I decided to look online for a alterations place with good reviews. find La'Ber from yelp reviews and I am so happy I went to her. Kiyment went out of her way to make sure I was happy with everything. She did two wedding dresses for me, my maid of honor's dress and the mother of the bride's dress. For all of these dresses she did alterations, made jackets and for the mother of the bride dress she did A LOT of work on it by basically taking it apart and putting it back together to fit my mother to a tee. Her prices were extremely fair and she is super nice and helpful. I really do not have anything negative to say about this experience. Additionally, Kiymet went out of her way to set my husband and his groomsmen up with tuxes! They were amazingly priced and came out wonderfully (they were less to buy then to rent from the mens warehouse). I I will continue to come here for alterations and dry cleaning. I brought a brides maids dress here that I was so unhappy with and begged for them to do anything to fix it. The dress was originally way too big on me and I was extremely uncomfortable in it.
Before bringing it to La' Ber I brought it to a dry cleaner who promised me they could fix it. When I got it from the dry cleaner days later I was still unhappy. I shared this with the dry cleaner and he ever so politely told me it was my fault that I'm unhappy bc my body is "not proportional due to the fact that I exercise often."
I was so desperate I brought the dress into La'Ber and was immediately put at ease. She undid everything that the dry cleaner did and told me not to worry. Within 3 days I had what felt like a brand new dress! It fit me perfectly and I actually loved wearing it! I cannot thank La'Ber enough and will definitely be returning!

Yesterday evening I received my bridesmaids dress for a wedding that I'm in next week-unfortunately I have to fly several hours to the wedding in five days. I tried on my bridesmaids dress and it was too big. I emailed late if I could come in and they responded so fast and told me to come in the morning but may have to wait. After traveling from Manhattan to LaBer I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat! She finished the dress in only a couple of hours and was incredibly sweet!!!! I will definitely be coming back!!! So reasonably priced and took the time to finish it even though it was short notice! AMAZING

I was referred to La'Ber when my wedding tailor had a family emergency TWO weeks before my wedding!!!!!!!!! Not only were they able to totally alter my dress in the time needed...it was done beautifully, meticulous, and with a smile. They are super friendly, amazing prices, and I cannot say enough how beautiful their work was. The top of my dress is seamless and was very large and somehow they managed to take it in and its still seamless! So beautiful! I had a wonderful experience with La'Ber. Had to get a bridesmaids dress hemmed, but it had beading on tulle all the way to the bottom, which made things difficult (and pricey!). Thankfully, Kimyet talked me through the process and was able to do a beautiful job at a very reasonable price.

I took a formal dress to get tailored because it was too long. The fabric is a very delicate lace and Kiymet did such a great job it looks as if it was never altered. True religion jeans must be a challenge to tailors as I never had anyone hem it right except here. The lady did an awesome job and I regret not finding her sooner! I had some other articles dry cleaned as well and one of them was a trench coat. My dog chewed off one of the buttons by the sleeve end. My husband wasn't aware of this so he didn't say anything about it when he dropped off the clothes. When I picked them up today, I noticed that she had replaced the button (free of charge!) It's the little things that matter and she is definitely meticulous.

Amazing service! Came here at 4:48pm thinking I had time before they closed at 5:30pm, but upon arrival, their storefront says they are open until 5:00pm. I walked in and asked if it was okay to have a dress hemmed even though they were closing in 12 minutes, and they were so pleasant and polite they said it was fine. Any other business would have told me to come another day. They even trimmed the dress during my visit, which was only 10 minutes in total. I told them that I didn't need the dress for any deadline, but they said it would be done by the next day. Such speedy service without feeling rushed, and so polite! I will be coming here for all of my tailoring needs in the future.

I got my wedding dress customized back home but has failed me so many times. I was not satisfied with the overall appearance of it but this gentle, modest, and skillful woman came to the rescue! I was new in town so I rely on applications like this to find the best ones in town. Glad I was able to tag my fiancé along. We did a few trips and the dress was finished way ahead of time. My fiancé bought his suit few weeks after and without a doubt chose Kiymet to have his suit altered as well. We are probably the happiest couple in town that day. Kiymet is a fantastic tailor! I chose her among a dozen or so other tailors to alter my wedding dress and I'm so happy I did. She is a true craftswoman with amazing attention to detail. She clearly has an eye for design and good taste too-- often offering recommendations that I didn't even think of to make my dress absolutely perfect! She also went above any beyond to buy small accessories for my bustier top, including cups and boning, without extra cost. All of this with a smile, always.

"This woman is a life saver! They didn't have the dress I wanted in my size at the store so I had to wait for it to ship to my house leaving me very little time before my brothers engagement party. (24 hours to be more precise). Her being open at 7 allowed me to go in to get my dress hemmed before I went into work.....And she will have my ready by this afternoon!! Also her dry cleaning prices are considerably more reasonable...I will be coming back for hemming and dry cleaning.

"Kiymet is Great... I've known her for years! I was so happy to find her because I went back to the place she used to work at and had someone else alter my dress, and they ruined it. I brought it to her when I found her and she fixed it. She also makes me custom dresses for all of my weddings that I go to (I like to be unique) so I tell her the colors and the styles I want, she gets the material, and literally makes it from scratch. I searched all over NJ for an experienced wedding gown tailor, including all the reputable bridal salons. Boy am I glad I found La'Ber Cleaners! I needed to have my multi-layered wedding gown train shortened, bodice taken in, lace added to the back and sleeves created. A lot of work went into this gown to make it fit like a glove for my wedding day. I never felt rushed during all my dress fittings. Kiymet addressed all my concerns with fabulous solutions! She and her daughter Leyla were so sweet and warm and their prices are more than fair (I was quoted almost double by a few tailors). La'Ber Cleaners and Tailoring are amazing! I asked for a quote on yelp on 12/23 and a couple minutes later the owner replied with a quote. I took the dress to her on Christmas Eve. I wanted to add a split, v-neck and fix the back zipper. The turn around for my dress was 5 days which is really quick. My dress looks so beautiful! I'm so happy the vision I had came alive. This is my new place for alterations. :) |

Thank you so much La' Ber for making my wedding gown into my daughter's baptism dress just as I had envisioned. She did a beautiful job and took into consideration everything I wanted but still made sure my baby girl would be comfortable wearing it. Because I am female and I decided to wear a tuxedo to prom instead of a traditional dress I was really nervous about finding someone to do my alterations. I needed them to be perfect. I found this place on google after searching "Best tailor shops in Bergen County" and all the reviews were positive. I had 5 weeks until prom but the tailor was done within only two. It fit me just how I wanted and she was also very kind. I recommended her to my friend, also, who's very particular as well. Pictures as proof! |

My favorite place to get anything tailored. I always say quality over quantity and Kiymet always over exceeds expectations. I don't care that they aren't near my location, it's worth the drive. The custom bikinis are also amazing, and bring your vision to life. |
