Everyone needs a little break from work! Kiymet is taking her annual vacation from July 1, 2019 to August 18, 2019. Kiymet will be back on August 19, 2019.

Hours from 7/8 - 8/19 plan to be as follows:

• Monday to Friday - 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Saturday - 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

We will be accepting all dry cleaning and laundry, and some alterations. Alterations will be determined by Leyla, and the assistant tailor that will occasionally be at the shop with her during business hours.

So imagine this, you receive a call at 7 AM, asking for emergency (tailoring) services for a pro football player - specifically, Antonio Brown! Excited? HELL YEAH! But, here's the catch - Antonio doesn't land until midnight, and he needs his tailoring finished by 6 AM the next morning. [insert mind-blown face here] Yes, we did it!

We had the amazing opportunity to work with Antonio Brown for tailoring services on his Versace suit for the television game show: The Match Game. That night we drove into the city around midnight, completed a full custom fitting with Antonio, and went back to the shop to work on it to have it ready for him at 6 AM! 

Antonio Brown was an absolute pleasure to work with - such a humble, sweet, and super cool young man! Thank you for trusting us to make you look great for your show!

Can we just fast forward to the middle of the month and skip all this snow already?! I'm over it! Let's bring out the light jackets, put away the heavy coats, and enjoy the sun a little longer in the day already!

• We dry clean all down coats including Canada Goose, Moncler, Burberry, and more! Make sure to clean your coats before storing them away for the spring because they will rot, stain, and also smell really bad once you take them out of storage to reuse them next winter! Dry cleaning down coats range from $15 to $45, and can take anywhere from 4 to 8 days to clean. [Please be aware of our 30 day pick-up policy, we are not a storage facility ;)]
• We also clean fur and leather! Prices for these range on weight and size of the coat itself, and timing can be anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks! [30 day pick-up policy also applies to fur and leather items!]

Please be aware that we will be closed on March 26 & 27 for a private event. Both Kiymet and Leyla will be unavailable on these days. Dry cleaning that is normally due for Wednesday March 27 will be delayed for Friday March 29. Thank you for understanding.

Santa clause is coming to town! ...meaning all of your holiday parties and family dinners will need some new outfits! Finding the perfect outfit isn't usually the problem, but having it fit perfectly for your body is when you start to get stressed.. but that's where we come in.

This year's holiday trends seem to be including sequins, chalked pin stripes, and silk-blend!

Sequins and beaded outfits are a perfect way to ring in the new year - but can be a little difficult to work with. Not many tailors work on sequins and beading, but Kiymet does! ;) Silk-blend dresses are fab, but sometimes the slippery material gets a little risky on dresses or rompers with v-necks. Save the embarrassment, and have the v tagged down in all the right places to still give it that sexy look.
